From 26th to 29th September 2017, the delegation of Foreign Trade University (FTU) which was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President of FTU together with the lectures: Dr. Dang Thi Huyen Huong - Deputy Dean of the Accounting - Auditing Faculty, Dr. Bui Thu Hien - Lecture of the Faculty of Business Administration, Master Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen - Lecture of the Faculty of International Economics, Master Tran Thi Bich Nhung and Le Thi Thanh Ngan - Lecture of FTU Ho Chi Minh City Campus have participated in the Academic Exchange Seminar with Kobe University, Japan. The theme of the seminar was “Roles and Prospect of Japan- Vietnam Academic Exchange".
This was the second workshop that organized under the cooperation agreement which was signed in September 2015 between the two universities. The workshop was a great success and a place for lecturers and researchers of the University of Kobe, Japan as well as the Foreign Trade University to exchange research issues and promote further cooperation activities in the future.
In addition, the delegation attended the 5th Annual Forum with the theme "The Forum for leaders of Japanese studies”. The forum was attended by leaders from many universities in East Asia from Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam and Cambodia. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President of FTU delivered a speech at the forum. She confirmed the importance of international cooperation in education and expressed the desire to further promote cooperation on teaching and research with other countries in the region in the near future.
