From FTU, there were the presence of: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Thuy - Dean of Japanese Studies.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU was delighted to welcome the experts, researchers, scholars, lecturers of Vietnam and Japan who had attended the conference and gave presentations, contributed ideas to the topics of the conference. He said that this event was a valuable opportunity to orient the training of the Business Japanese for the Japanese language universities nowadays to meet the demand for high and sustainable quality human resources development. He hoped the delegates would exchange and discuss in an open, frank and constructive spirit.
After the speech expressed the honor of being invited to the conference of the representative of the Embassy of Japan, the conference entered the whole morning session. The first topic was "Japanese Language Education in Vietnam - Current Status and Problems" by Mr. Toshiki Ando - Director of the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam. The second topic was "What is the direction of the Business Japanese education at university?" by Prof. Keiko Horii - Muashino University - Chairman of the Business Japanese Association. Next was "Some Issues in Human Resource Training at Japanese Enterprises" by Mr. Tadateru Mitani - Chief Executive Officer of Mitani Sangyo company. The last topic was "Business Japanese Training at the Foreign Trade University - Problems and Solutions" by Dr. Tran Thi Thu Thuy - Dean of Japanese Studies. After four presentations, the delegates discussed the topics and summarized the plenary session.
In the afternoon, the delegates were divided into groups to discuss each topic in depth. Group 1.1 discusses about the Japanese language study, group 2.1 discusses about Japanese Business Training - General Direction, group 3 discusses about the cooperation between university and enterprises. Late in the afternoon, group 1.2 discussed the method of teaching Japanese, group 2.2 discussed the practical experience of the Business Japanese Training, group 3 continued to discuss the cooperation between the university and businesses.
The conference was a great success, opening up a clearer direction for the Business Japanese Training with global human resources development.
