The leaders of FTU welcomed the representatives of Deakin University (Australia) and All Nippon Airways company (Japan)

On December 1st 2017, the leaders of Foreign Trade University (FTU) had a meeting with the representatives of Deakin University (Australia).

On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hoang Nam - Head of Scientific Management, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc - Dean of International Education.

From Deakin University, there was Prof. Joe Graffam - Pro Vice Chancellor who in charge of Research Development and Training.

The two sides have discussed to develop the affiliated training program of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Accordingly, Deakin University committed to free of charge for most of the fees and tuitions. In addition, both universities also expressed their aspiration for long-term cooperation in the field of scientific research.

On the occasion of the meeting, Deakin University has proposed the implementation of the Intensive Training for teachers of FTU to develop international quality human resources for the affiliated training program of Master.

Previously, on November 30th 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President of FTU and Vu Thi Hien - Head of International Cooperation also had a meeting with Mr. Masazumi Mark Sugi - General Director of All Nippon Airways (ANA) company (Japan). The two sides exchanged information on recruitment opportunities at ANA for FTU students and other areas of cooperation.
