Introductory Information Seminar on the Talented Administrator Program of Maritime Bank

On April 20th, 2018, Foreign Trade University (FTU) cooperated with Maritime Bank to hold the 7th Announcement of the Talented Administrator Program of Maritime Bank.

On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung - Dean of Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dr. Luong Ngoc Oanh - Deputy Dean of Faculty of International Business Economics; MSc. Le Phuong Ha - Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and External Relations together with teachers and large number of third and fourth year students.

From Maritime Bank, there was Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung - Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Cuong - Deputy Director of Human Resources and Talented Administrator. There was also the participant of Mr. Dang Hai Trung - Director of Community Bank.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President of Foreign Trade University warmly welcomed the leaders of Maritime Bank, teachers and students who were presented at this seminar. She affirmed that in recent years, Foreign Trade University has always paid attention to cooperate with domestic and foreign enterprises in order to reach the goal of supplying high quality human resources to meet the labor demands of enterprises and the whole society. One of the partner groups which were important for cooperation of FTU were commercial banks. Among them, the cooperative relationship between FTU and Maritime Bank could not be ignored. FTU also appreciated the opportunities of promising employment, attractive recruitment programs and a professional working environment that Maritime Bank has been and would bring to students of universities and colleges in general and students of FTU in particular. In the near future, FTU wish to have closer cooperation and expand further the field of cooperation with Maritime Bank to create more and more valuable career opportunities for students. In addition, FTU also expects to receive feedback from businesses on the quality and effectiveness of the human resources which were provided by the school, thus help FTU to determine the output standard and develop the training content to meet the demand for practical use of enterprises.

Next, Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung - Deputy CEO of Maritime Bank expressed his sincere thanks to FTU for always cared and facilitated the activities of Maritime Bank to reach out to the majority of students. He said that many excellent students from FTU have applied for the Maritime Bank's Talented Administrator program and now they have become potential trainees and employees. There were even many alumni of FTU who hold the key positions at Maritime Bank and have the potential for further promotion in the field of Banking and Finance. He highly appreciated the quality of human resources that were provided to the labor market by FTU. He hoped to have more opportunity to cooperate with FTU in many other areas to strengthen the relationship between both sides.

Then, the seminar continued with the presentation of two speakers: Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung - Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Bank talked about the topic of "Planning for life" and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Cuong - Deputy Director of Human Resources of Maritime Bank shared informations and experiences on the program of Talented Administrators to spread the fire and enthusiasm for the students. The Q & A session and interaction between speakers and students took place in exciting atmosphere, with many interesting questions from the 3rd and 4th year students and the convincing answers from the speakers. At the end of the seminar, participants shared experiences and inspirations from two alumni of FTU who are currently the talented managers of Maritime Bank.
