On 20th June, 2017, A. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien – Lecturer of International Commerce; A. Prof. Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh – Head of Department of Macroeconomics; Dr. Pham Thu Huong – Lecturer of Accounting Management and Mr. Hoang Anh Duy – Lecturer of Human Resource Management were honored to be recognized by University of Bedfordshire, UK – one of long-term international partners of Foreign Trade University. In the cereomny, Mr Bill Rammel –Vice Chancellor University of Bedfordshire, UK and Mr. Giles Lever - The British Ambassador to Vietnam were the representatives granting the recognition letters to the lecturers of Foreign Trade University.
A. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien obtained MBA at La Trobe University (Australia) and PhD in economics at Foreign Trade University (Vietnam). Dr. Tien’s teaching and research interests in international trade and business. He has various publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien used to be Head of Academic and Research Affairs Department, whose responsibility is to promote and coordinate research activities within and between FTU with other domestic and foreign partner. His leadership within the FTU has been instrumental in enhancing capacity among FTU’s lecturers and students, which significantly enhances the practicality and effectiveness of FTU’s researches in variety of areas.

A. Prof. Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh graduated BA in International Economics in 2001. In 2006, he obtained the Master Degree of University of North London in International Trade and Economics and in 2011; he received the Doctor Degree of Foreign Trade University in Economics. He is the head of Macroeconomics at FTU and has numerous journal and research paper published in domestic and international journal and conference.

Dr. Pham Thu Huong obtained the Master degree of University of Aarhus – Denmark, her bachelor and doctor degree are issued by Foreign Trade University. She achieved the Certificate of Chief Accountant from National Economics University in 2010, and successfully received the certificate for Leadership and Management in Higher Education granted by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). She used to hold the position of the Head of Finance Department at FTU for 6 years and now she is Head of Training Department at FTU. Dr. Pham Thu Huong had taught for the Joint Training Program since 2000, and she also participates in many international projects as a financial adviser. Her main research is about financial tools and the development in education system.

Mr. Hoang Anh Duy graduated BA at FTU in 2007, obtained the MBA degree of University of Leicester (UK) in 2011. He had successfully completed the Development Program on Strategic Management, HRM, Organizational Behavior and Teaching Strategies hosted by California State University Fullerton (USA) in 2012. He had many publications and accomplishments within national and international publishers. Also, he had participated in many research projects in Foreign Trade University. His lessons always bring the youthful excitement while delivering not only academic knowledge, but also other essential soft skills for students to prepare for their future.

The lecturers participate in joint training programs graduated abroad, attained various experience and in-depth expertise knowledge, and have always been enthusiastic in their teaching careers. The recognition from such outstanding international university enhances the reputation and quality of both lecturers and Foreign Trade University in general.
